Are you ready to get a head start on your legal career? Ashurst is inviting ambitious first-year students to join us in our London office for an immersive First Year Insight Day.

This is your chance to step inside a leading global law firm, experience our collaborative culture firsthand, and discover what life is really like as a commercial solicitor. Whether you study law or a non-law degree, this event is designed to demystify the legal profession and equip you with the skills to succeed.

Who Can Apply?

This programme is open to:

  • First-year students (Law and Non-Law)
  • Second-year students undertaking a four-year degree

What You Will Experience

During this face-to-face event, you will move beyond the textbooks and into the real world of commercial law.

  • Life as a Trainee: Gain a realistic insight into the day-to-day role of a trainee solicitor at Ashurst.
  • Interactive Workshops: Participate in workshops and panel discussions led by industry experts.
  • Practical Simulation: Experience the process of a commercial deal or transaction through practical exercises.
  • Networking: Meet current trainees, associates, and senior members of the firm to ask questions and build your professional network.
  • Career Coaching: Receive top tips from our dedicated Early Careers team to strengthen your future applications.
