About the Role

As an apprentice, here’s what will await you during your four‑year training contract:

Years 1 and 2

  • Master the art of auditing: Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of financial statements (including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows).
  • Work side by side with clients to understand their operations, challenges, and unique circumstances.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders — both with clients and internally across service lines.

Years 3 and 4

  • Take on increasingly complex audit work such as revenue recognition, valuation, and risk assessments.
  • Take ownership of audit engagements and play a leading role in their delivery.
  • Mentor new and more junior team members, helping them settle in and thrive.

You're joining us as a permanent employee, so the four‑year programme is only the beginning of your exceptional career journey at Forvis Mazars.
