You’ll receive hands-on training from an experienced team, gain valuable industry skills, and work towards a recognised qualification while supporting the day-to-day operations of a leading local lettings agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with leasing, inspections, rent collection, and record-keeping, including preparing leases using SME and organising documents on the internal hard-drive.
  • Become an expert user of SME, our software platform used to correspond with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
  • Update property information using MS Word, save documents to the internal system, and ensure accurate information flows from SME to Rightmove for verification.
  • Develop knowledge of SafeDeposits Scotland and how to correctly handle deposit registration, protection, and dispute procedures.
  • Use SME to track property details, tenant and landlord information, and manage banking and reference data.
  • Learn the fundamentals of property compliance, legislation, and daily operational processes.
  • Support tenant applications, including sending details to landlords, uploading applications to Let Alliance for credit checks, employer and landlord references, and managing application progress.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and follow structured processes.
  • Professional, friendly, and confident approach when dealing with customers.
  • Ability to work well as part of a small, supportive team.

Salary:

£15,000 per annum

Working hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Benefits:

  • Full training and support from experienced property professionals.
  • Industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification.
  • Opportunity to gain specialist lettings and compliance knowledge.

Future prospects:

This opportunity will be fixed term for 18 months with opportunity to become a full time member of staff after successful completion of your apprenticeship.
