About the Opportunity

Over four years, you’ll rotate through four different teams, each focusing on a key area of real estate, including but not limited to:

  • Valuations: Learn how properties are valued and what affects their worth.
  • Leasing: Discover how properties are rented and managed.
  • Brokerage: Help clients buy and sell properties.

As part of the apprenticeship, you’ll work at CBRE for four days each week, gaining practical experience, and spend one day studying towards a BSc in Real Estate at the University of Built Environment (UBE). This means you’ll earn a degree while working and learning on the job, with plenty of support from your team and mentors.

What You’ll Do

  • Get out and about visiting different properties, seeing how real estate works in practice.
  • Take part in client meetings, learning how to present ideas and work as part of a team.
  • Research the property market and help your team understand what’s happening in the industry.
  • Prepare reports and documents that make a real impact.
  • Mix office-based work with time out on site, so every week feels different.
  • Get involved in projects that shape communities and help clients achieve their goals.
  • Build your confidence by communicating with colleagues and clients from all backgrounds.
  • Gain hands-on experience with different types of buildings and real estate challenges
  • To maximise learning, we ask all of our next generation cohort to be in the office on each of their working days
  • You may from time to time be required to work additional hours as are necessary

What You’ll Need

  • A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for real estate & the built-environment
  • Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and proactive with a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and good time management
  • The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK
  • A minimum of 5 GCSES Grade C (or 4) or above including English and Mathematics. (or equivalent Maths and English qualifications).
  • 3 A Levels preferably including Mathematics, or related discipline. Alternatively, BTEC Extended Diploma with grades MMM or BTEC Diploma with grades DD. Overall equivalent to 96 UCAS points.
  • Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint*
  • A valid driving license (regional offices only)*

* Not an essential requirement for the role, but desired
