Graduate Insurance Executive

Start Date: January/February 2026

Salary: £28,000 per annum + annual salary review + qualification completion bonus.

DCL is an independent insurance broker, that provide a market leading commercial motor insurance offering, working closely with Nelson Insurance - our award-winning underwriting partner and Noble Claims Services – specialists in managing the full motor claims lifecycle.

The world of motor insurance is fast moving with technological and safety advancements and the transition to Electric Vehicles making this an exciting time to start your insurance career.

Programme Overview

Our two-year graduate programme is designed for students who want to take their first step into their career in insurance and gain valuable and varied experience.

You will have the opportunity to undertake two or three rotations across our brokerage and claims teams. Which could include working in sales, customer retention, policy administration, accounts, dealing with the initial claims reports and assessment of liability, handling the damage repair process, and personal injury claims.

In addition, you will be enrolled on your Cert CII, and over the course of the programme you will be sponsored to undertake your examinations in support of your qualification.

  • A minimum 2:2 in any degree discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • Proactive and keen to learn new skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
