Join our Business Management Graduate & Associate Programme and step into the exciting world of Service Management—where people and technology come together to create real value. As an Associate Service Manager, you’ll be working on some of our largest customer accounts, helping to deliver outstanding service and ensuring we meet our contractual commitments with confidence and care.

Service Management is all about building trusted relationships, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be the link between our teams and our customers, some of the world’s greatest organisations, making sure everything we deliver adds real value. It’s a role that blends communication, collaboration, and leadership—perfect for those who love working with people.

From the moment you join, you’ll start learning how our business operates and how we support our customers through the use of tech, helping them to change the world. As your skills grow, so will your responsibilities—from leading monthly service reviews and managing reporting, to eventually owning full service lines. We offer two entry pathways onto our 2026 Business Management Graduate & Associate programme, depending on whether you’re a recent graduate or you’re an individual with 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or related environment (in which case a degree is not a requirement.

Have a degree already or you're in your final year at university?

If you’re a recent graduate with a degree in any subject — and any classification — we’d be delighted to hear from you. What matters most is your ambition, curiosity and drive to succeed.

Have some experience, but no degree?

No problem! If you’ve got 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a customer-facing role, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for people with drive, curiosity and potential - not just qualifications.

The programme

Our Business Management Graduate & Associate Programme is built entirely around you. While the structure of the programme may vary slightly from one year to the next, here is an outline of what you can typically expect:

Milestone 1

Welcome to the start of something exciting. This is where your story begins—your first step into the world of Service Management at Computacenter. You’ll dive into who we are, what we do, and how we help our customers unlock the power of technology to drive change, empower people, and make a real-world impact.

Milestone 2

Now it’s time to get closer to the action. You’ll step into the heart of the customer experience. And it’s where you’ll start making a difference. You’ll begin to explore the customer account you’ll be aligned to—understanding the services we deliver and why they’re vital to keeping our customers switched on, successful and supported. It’s your chance to see the real-world impact of technology and begin building trusted relationships that matter.

Milestone 3

This is where things get strategic—where you start to see the bigger picture and understand your role within it. You’ll explore how we deliver value for our customers—not just through tech, but through the services and solutions that keep our customers moving forward. As you deepen your understanding of our service portfolio, you’ll start building the commercial awareness and start connecting the dots between what we do and why it matters.

Milestone 4

With growing confidence and insight, you’ll learn how to spot opportunities to improve, innovate and influence. You’ll develop the confidence to present your ideas, gain buy-in from key stakeholders, and help shape solutions that make a real impact. It’s your chance to spark progress and show what you’re made of.

Milestone 5

Step up and lead with confidence as you take ownership of key customer account activities, applying everything you’ve learnt to deliver results. You’ll continue building your service knowledge while growing personally and professionally—ready to take on bigger challenges.

Upon completion

Completing the programme is just the beginning. You’ll be ready to launch a rewarding career as a Service Manager—trusted to lead customer relationships and drive real outcomes. Our selection process is more than just a step towards joining Computacenter—it’s a chance to explore what drives you, discover more about yourself, and connect with people who are passionate about making a difference. Key dates to keep in mind

Applications open early September and are scheduled to close 5 December 2025. However, they may close earlier if we receive enough applications.The initial stages of our selection process run from September to December.The assessment centre will take place sometime in February or March 2026.The programme will start on 7 September 2026.

  • Stage 1- Online Application

Just fill out our online application form, upload your CV, and answer a few quick questions to help us get to know you. Once we’ve received your application, we’ll take a look and see how your skills and interests match up with what we’re looking for. If everything lines up and you meet the programme criteria, we’ll invite you to complete an online assessment designed to explore your strengths and potential.

  • Stage 2 - Competency Test

You’ll be invited to complete an online assessment designed to explore your potential and the key behaviours we look for in successful Service Managers at Computacenter. You can complete it at your own pace—whenever works best for you.

  • Stage 3 - Video Interview

Once you’ve completed our Competency Test, you’ll get a link to our video interview platform. You’ll then record a short video (around 3 minutes), answering 1–3 quick-fire questions — with up to 1 minute to respond to each. Once submitted, our experienced Service Managers review your answers and we then let you know if you’re moving forward to the next stage.

  • Stage 4 - Virtual Interview

You’ll be invited to a virtual interview with one of our Service Managers. While the interview will focus mainly on competencies, we’re also keen to hear about your motivation, any relevant experience, or your drive to succeed in this role. It’s a brilliant opportunity for you to learn more about us, and for us to get to know you. We’ll let you know whether you’re progressing to the next stage as soon as we practically can after your interview.

  • Stage 5 – Assessment Centre

You’re nearly there! The Assessment Centre is your final step — held at Computacenter’s UK and Group HQ in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The experience kicks off with an overnight stay, including dinner with our senior leadership team — a great chance to connect, ask questions and get inspired. The following day, you’ll take part in a fast-paced, interactive programme packed with group challenges, individual tasks, interviews and presentations. Everything is designed to help you showcase your strengths in front of expert assessors from our Service Management team.

  • What qualifications do I need to apply?

We’re open-minded about your academic background. If you’ve got a degree—any subject, any classification—you’re welcome to apply. What matters most is your drive to grow, learn, and make an impact.

  • Can I apply for a job if I don’t meet the academic requirements?

If you don’t hold a degree, that’s not a problem! We welcome applications from non-graduates for our Service Management Graduate Programme provided that you’ve 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a sales or similar environment.

  • What is the application deadline?

Applications for our 2026 intake will close by 5 December 2025 — but don’t wait until the last minute! We may close the window earlier if we receive enough applications, so we recommend applying as soon as you’re ready.

  • How long will the selection process take?

Because our Early Careers programmes are super popular, we’re only able to offer detailed feedback if you reach the assessment centre but aren’t successful.

  • Is there a set time of year when new starters begin?

If you successfully complete the assessment centre, you’ll begin your exciting journey into the world of Service Management on 7 September 2026—a great time to connect with your cohort, settle in, and start building your future.

  • Will I have an induction before I start?

Definitely. We get that stepping into a new role can feel overwhelming, so we’ve designed an induction experience that helps you feel confident from day one. You’ll join other successful applicants for a full introduction to Computacenter, giving you the chance to learn, connect and settle in together. It’s a brilliant way to meet your peers, build your network, and start making an impact straight away.

  • Where will I be based?
