Product Buying & Licensing Placement (12 Months) – London
Location: Hammersmith, London (Hybrid: 4 days office / 1 day home)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Duration: 12 Months (Starts June 2026)

The Role at a Glance
This is a comprehensive commercial role for students who want to understand the business behind the brand. You will join the Consumer Products team, working across Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Licensing for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa).
Whether you are analysing market trends for Video Games, selecting product ranges for the Disney Store, or managing the online strategy for ShopDisney, you will develop a blend of creative and commercial skills.
Where You Could Work
We have multiple roles available under this single application. You will be matched to one of the following business units:
🛍️ Disney Store (Buying & Retail)
- Focus: Physical retail and flagship store strategy.
- Work: Assist the Buying team in selecting ranges, conducting competitor research, and launching products in stores globally. You will build relationships with major licensing partners and analyse sales performance.
💻 Site Merchandising (E-Commerce)
- Focus: Digital retail and online trading.
- Work: Plan and trade the online stores. You will prepare products for launch, manage categorisation, and review sales data to optimise the customer journey on our e-commerce platforms.
🏠 Disney Home (Licensing & Strategy)
- Focus: Homewares, marketing, and business reporting.
- Work: Support new product launches across the EMEA region. You will work on marketing/PR campaigns, manage stakeholders (licensees), and produce financial reports and market research presentations.
🎮 Games (Marketing & Commercial)
- Focus: PC, Console, and Mobile titles.
- Work: Maximise commercial opportunities for world-class video games. You will coordinate marketing activities (influencer campaigns, events) and use web analytics to assess the performance of mobile apps and gaming content.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate student in your second year, returning to study in Autumn 2027.
- Right to Work: You must already have the right to work in the UK.
- Availability: Ready to start full-time in June 2026.
