Programme Essentials

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2027
  • You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 – Friday 23rd July 2027.

What will I be doing?

As an intern, you will be working closely with UK Scripted Development team.You will get first-hand experience in developing projects from inception to greenlight. The role involves managing submissions of materials, compiling project-specific research, reading and reporting on books and scripts. You will provide valuable support for the development team including day to day admin, updating of databases, and creating and distributing regular alerts and memos.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

This internship is about learning from the development team and materials they have to share. You will learn how a show is developed and made starting from idea/concept, to greenlight to production.

  • A passion in scripted television and wants to learn how TV is made
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously
  • Detail orientated
  • Multi-tasking
  • Problem solving skills – coming up with idea and solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure to work to tight deadlines
