We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Graduate to join Amey Complex Facilities Division.

The salary is £28,500 per annum

Location - National, hybrid working with travel.

Start Date - September 2026

Working as part of the Net Zero and Energy Solutions team within Complex Facilities (CF), you will be part of a team driving the UK’s journey to Net Zero. You’ll be contributing to projects that directly reduce carbon, improve energy efficiency and support our clients on their journey to Net Zero.

The role is varied and involves working with operations managers and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members to address compliance, quality, and health & safety matters. Responsibilities also include gaining familiarity with technical, statutory, and mandatory delivery, as well as Net Zero and energy transition project requirements.

What you will do:

  • Support contract mobilisation and operational delivery across UK sites, including monitoring progress against programme plans, addressing shortfalls, and assisting with planned and reactive works.
  • Provide operational support to managers, enabling efficient and accurate execution of duties, and contribute to the development and implementation of action plans for effective time, resource, and process management.
  • Attend client meetings and produce monthly reports, ensuring clear communication and alignment between stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc compliance audits to maintain standards and support continuous improvement across the estate.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in Business Management or similar.
  • A driving licence would be desirable as travel UK is required.
  • Available to join the programme in September 2026.
  • Passion for developing your skills both professional and personally with the drive to complete professional registration as well as working towards IOSH Managing Safely.
  • High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working ethos with advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, with strong problem-solving capability and ability plan and prioritise effectively.
  • Commercial awareness with a high level of literacy and numerical ability.
