Our Business Management Summer Internship

Our Business Management scheme is designed to ignite a spark in our leaders of the future. Whether you’re embedded in one of our customer brands, including British Gas, Hive and PH Jones, or part of a central function, you’ll have the opportunity to make tangible differences to our operations, championing customer experience at the heart of our business.

You will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into. We offer roles across a range of areas including project management, commercial delivery, strategy, and operations, across various UK office locations.

At Centrica, we believe face-to-face collaboration is key to making the most of your internship. While we support flexible working across the business, our summer interns are based full-time, predominantly in our London/Berkshire office to maximise learning, connection, and development.

What we need from you:

We want you to count yourself in! We welcome people from all walks of life who bring fresh perspectives, live our values, and work in line with our core behaviours. If that sounds like you, here’s what we’re looking for:

• Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters)
• If required, able to travel and stay away from home during your internship - flexibility is key to making the most of your experience!
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Available to start the scheme from 16th June 2026 to 14th August 2026.

Here’s what's in it for you

• You’ll be paid a salary of £24,000 (pro rata)
• Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your internship if required
