Bespoke Project Management - Placement Year

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Bespoke Project Management - 12 Month Placement (July 2026)

The Bespoke Product and Process department is a wide-spread organisation, leading the entire Bespoke feature development process from new features conception to realisation. Relying on close working relationships with production & internal/external partners alike, the department is tasked with delivering the future of our Business through an excellent Bespoke offer focusing entirely on our customers.

What awaits you?

  • Assist the project management team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the progress of various Bespoke feature development initiatives.
  • Participate in project meetings, take detailed notes, and help maintain project documentation and status reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyse existing processes and workflows within the Bespoke Product and Process department.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and optimising these processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Support the implementation process improvements, leveraging your analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of new processes or the refinement of existing ones.
  • Cleansing and deep-dive analysis of datasets relevant to the Bespoke organisation and provide business-supporting reports to support the identification of trends and details which aid on our decision making.
  • Explore innovative capabilities of data systems with the aim to introduce them into our organisation.
  • Coordination and steering of Target Management Process and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Structured problem solving, preferably with knowledge of the DMAIC approach.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Studying towards a 2:2 bachelor’s degree - preferably in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, IT, Data Science or other relevant field.
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
  • Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems.
  • An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of VBA, Power Bi and SAP is advantageous.
  • Full driving licence is advantageous.
