Student - Strategic Insights

This role will be based in our modern state-of-the-art co-working facilities in Moorgate, London. This site, at the heart of London provides fantastic amenities, support services and collaborative workspaces with convenient transport links.

As part of the Strategic Insights team, you will embark on a dynamic placement designed to immerse you in the commercial landscape of our organisation. Throughout your time here, you will gain a deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities that drive commercial success, working closely with colleagues across multiple functions to build strong professional networks. You’ll actively support the integration of data and analytics into strategic choices, ensuring that insights inform key decisions and deliver measurable impact.

Your experience will give you visibility of core processes such as financial forecasting, metric setting, and market research, providing a comprehensive view of how commercial strategies are shaped and executed. By collaborating within cross-functional teams, you’ll develop your ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations, contribute to portfolio prioritisation, and help foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and report on brand and franchise performance to generate actionable insights.
  • Lead or support the design and delivery of the Sales Force Incentive Programme (SFIP).
  • Leverage data and insights to proactively identify risks and opportunities, driving optimisation of marketing and customer engagement strategies.
  • Set and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects to develop commercial acumen and support business objectives.

Requirements:

  • You must currently be at university and will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree.
  • Ideally studying / studied Maths, Business, or a STEM discipline
  • Demonstrates a strong analytical and numerical mindset, with the ability to interpret and work with data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable.
  • Possesses an inquisitive mindset, eager to learn, ask questions, and explore new approaches to problem solving.
