Job Description

HR Data Placement 2026

About The Role

We are excited to offer a HR Data industrial placement, starting in June 2026.

What will you be doing?

You will support in developing and producing accurate, timely and meaningful data analysis and reporting to the People Team and wider business in order to continually enhance the HR strategy. This will support in providing people data insights in key identified areas.

What can we offer you?

As an undergraduate on one of our placements, you'll receive a £23,500 salary. You'll also receive 27 days' holiday – plus bank holidays –, access to our car schemes, pension scheme, employee well-being support, an on-site restaurant and shopping discounts.

What do you need?

To be successful in this role you'll need to enjoy gathering and manipulating data. You'll have good analytical skills with a logical approach and good attention to detail. You'll be interacting with different stakeholders around the business so you'll also need to have good people skills.

Our placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2026. You should be on a sandwich degree which offers a one-year industrial placement.

We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office.

What's the assessment process?

Once you have hit the apply button, you will be asked to complete numerical assessment and situational judgement assessments. If you successfully complete these, we will invite you to an online video interview so that we have a chance to get to know you a little more about you. Our final step in the journey would be for you to attend a face-to-face interview. This process is designed to help us both work out if a placement here is the right step for you. Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the interview.

If you’re ready to charge up your career, apply now.

To avoid disappointment, you are advised to submit your application as soon as possible as we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if a high volume of applications are received. This is to ensure that we can manage the application levels whilst maintaining a positive candidate experience. Unfortunately, once a vacancy has closed, we are unable to consider further applications.

Join us and you’ll find a very different type of organisation. So, we’ll reward you with an attractive range of benefits, and we’ll recognise your personal commitments beyond work by protecting your wellbeing. Meet some of the team

Jamie, Direct Sales Operations and Performance ExecutiveI originally started as an undergraduate on the Audi Product planning and supply team in 2021. This helped me develop skills such as public speaking. It was very daunting to me, but with some mentoring, I eventually spoke to 300 students at a school, which was a massive personal achievement. My aspiration following the graduate scheme is to specialize in a certain area and own it as an expert, years down the line. With new models and technologies constantly coming, it is really exciting to be a part of driving the business in the right direction.

Georgia, People Executive (Graduate)I joined the undergraduate scheme in the People team in 2021, and I was fortunate to be offered a part-time contract during my final year of study. Now I’ve moved onto the Graduate scheme as a People Executive, rotating around the different Centres of Excellence in our People Team, supporting everything from Engagement and Inclusivity to Reward and Talent Attraction.
