Duration: 12.5 months

The Early Careers department plays a crucial role in Airbus's future skills strategy by delivering high-quality Early careers programmes. We work to attract and retain diverse individuals from all backgrounds, while creating a positive and inclusive experience for our Early Careers population.
Simultaneously, our Education Liaison team works to address future skills gaps by encouraging and inspiring pupils in schools to find STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects exciting and understand their importance.
What you will be doing:
As an Early Careers Intern, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the department and put your learning into action in a real-world environment. This will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses, the type of career you want to pursue, and develop skills that will improve your chances of securing your dream job.The tasks you will undertake are varied and will require you to successfully complete projects from the following list:
- Lead and support STEM activities and events;
- Create and develop training documents;
- Support programme development and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Attend meetings, create action logs, and take minutes;
- Support STEM strategy development and corporate alignment;
- Support partnership development;
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes;
- Help to lead Early Careers projects.

By showing a willingness to learn and using your initiative, you can make life-long connections and contribute to the success of a project, which will help build your confidence and motivation.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only.Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, a Social Science field, or equivalent;
- Work well within a team;
- The ability to listen, understand and communicate information;
- An interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems;
- The ability to organise and manage multiple tasks within strict time constraints;
- Enthusiastic and proactive and take a hands-on approach to tasks;
- Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders;
- Customer Service experience (both verbal and written);
- Nice to have experience in Project Management.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
