About us

Airbus is a forward-thinking, dynamic business, paving the way for the future of the aerospace industry. As a driving force for innovation, we are working towards a sustainable future. When you join the Airbus Finance Internship Scheme, we recognise the importance of supporting high-achieving and talented undergraduates by offering challenging internship opportunities where your skills and potential can be fully maximised.

This scheme will provide a fantastic start to your career. You will gain hands-on financial experience within a manufacturing environment and develop key professional skills such as leadership, organisation, presentation, and communication. You will be given real responsibilities and an insight into working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. As an intern, you are treated as a full employee and given all the support you need to ensure a smooth transition from university to professional life.

We have a solid mix of youth and experience, with a large number of interns, graduates, and apprentices on-site, as well as experienced professionals to guide your career from both a technical and behavioural perspective. You will have the opportunity to build a wide network of people with a range of experience levels from all different areas of the business.

We encourage a healthy work-life balance through flexi-time and a Friday half-day, ensuring positive well-being. There is also the opportunity to get involved in activities outside of your role, such as organising charity events, joining Generation Airbus, leading your own projects, and participating in local team social events.

Depending on strong performance, there is the potential to be fast-tracked onto the Finance Graduate Scheme, giving you the chance to join the Airbus family long-term, living and working around Europe in numerous placements while studying for your CIMA qualifications.
