Job Description

2026 Investment Bank Quants Off-Cycle Internship

Your role

Interested in working in financial services, specifically learning about global market trends, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint? Do you thrive on intellectual challenges and take pride in building robust, well-designed solutions?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Quant Off-Cycle Internship Program.

You’ll get to:

• Research, test, and implement derivatives, optimization, inventory prediction models and tools to support a wide range of business needs

• Collaborate closely with trading desks and control functions to provide quantitative and modelling support

• Work with other Front Office stakeholders such as Trading, Structuring and Sales to enhance pricing capabilities

• Ensure that applications and models are tested to high and strategic standards

Your team

You’ll be working in our Quant business. We work across asset classes — including Equities, Interest rates, FX, and Credit — and cover delta-one, flow, exotics, Financing and QIS products as well as providing exposure models, analytics and tools to traders and risk managers globally covering traditional XVAs and Capital measures. Our team partners closely with trading, technology, and control functions to deliver high-impact solutions.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• is in their penultimate or final year of their degree, or who has recently graduated within six months of starting the internship

• has or is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree

• has a strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, science, engineering)

• has academic familiarity with quantitative finance, derivatives modelling, pricing or Machine Learning techniques

• is familiar with financial markets and products

• has clear and effective communication skills, especially when explaining complex ideas

• has strong programming and algorithmic skills

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.

Your program

The program is 6 months in length starting in April through to September. During your paid internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm.

You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
