Job Description

IT Helpdesk Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship - nTrust

nTrust was founded in 2002 to provide the very best IT support and IT services. The distinction that stands nTrust apart is the decades of experience the Directors, Russ and Eric had, running IT departments for large companies, prior to starting this business.

Responsibilities:

  • First line support for all clients, from first call to ticket resolution
  • Accurate ticket logging and documentation
  • Technical support – Remote and on site, telephone and email diagnosis

Desirable skills:

  • Communication
  • Customer services skills

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week.

Benefits:

  • Enjoy free tea and coffee throughout the day
  • Access to a modern staff kitchen, lounge area, and freshly refurbed workspace with showers on site — great for breaks and recharge time
  • End-of-week social
  • Dedicated training and development: on-the-job experience combined with 18 months of QA-accredited Level 3 apprenticeship learning and Microsoft certification training

Future prospects:

Clear progression path: after apprenticeship completion, ongoing support for further skills development and career growth within the company.
