Project Controller Higher Apprenticeship - At MI-GSO | PCUBED (Oxford)

Overview:
We are assisting the defence and security sector with the delivery of multi-faceted, multimillion-pound portfolios of work. Specifically, this requires people who have either have or are willing to possess security clearance, in accordance with UK Government standards. We are looking to engage with driven and ambitious individuals to support and lead this work, who have a keen interest in management consultancy and furthering their career.
You will be working at various client sites depending on the project. Travel to client sites is paid if you are travelling beyond your office location.
As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Planning.
- Scheduling.
- Resource management.
- Risk assessment.
- Cost-control.
- Estimating.
- Project communication.
Desirable skills:
- Understanding of project management, including at least one of either project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk assessment and/or resource management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working on client site with multiple stakeholders.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to work on complex issues and communicate solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Eagerness to further your development within a consulting environment and a consulting mind-set.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Able to drive (essential as travel to client sites is part of the role).
Entry requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC etc.)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)
AND
- 5 x GCSE’s including English & Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
Working hours:
9am - 5pm.
