Sales Apprenticeship

Our Accountancy and Practice team at Sage are constantly striving to make Sage the software of choice within the professional Accountancy world.
With a focus on supporting a base of accountants our Account Managers play a pivotal role in nurturing strong relationships and trust with the ultimate aim of creating advocacy for Sage’s products and services. Taking a consultative approach based on the accountant’s needs and aspirations you will help drive engagement and advocacy.

Summary of your day-to-day?
You will continuously maintain and nurture strong relationships across the accountancy base and implement a robust customer success model across your entire base. By gaining an understanding of your client’s pain points you will be able to deliver responsive solutions and support and more importantly add value!! Hosting monthly webinars demonstrating our products and services will help support the engagement between Sage and our customers and show you as a true expert within the field.

- A good understanding of working in a SaaS or similar environment.

As a Sales Apprentice you will join our high performing Sales Team where you will undertake a variety of roles and projects to gain experience across different teams.
As well as on the job learning, you’ll benefit from five personal development days which you can use to boost your skills and industry knowledge. We also encourage all our colleagues to make an impact in their local communities, by giving them five fully paid days per year to volunteer, fundraise or do other charitable work through Sage Foundation.

Entry Requirements:
- High-energy individual with a can-do approach
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player
- Organised, proactive and can work to deadlines
- Numerically strong with an attention to detail
- You will need five 9-4 GCSE passes (including Maths and English) to thrive in this role, and to qualify for the sales apprenticeship you will be enrolled on to

Apply online with your CV and complete our screening process. If our Early Careers team believes you might be a match, you’ll be asked to complete a video interview (you’ll receive a link to complete a video interview within 1 week of applying).
If successful, you’ll join a shortlist of candidates for the assessment centre. This is a full-day virtual event between in August or early September 2023. Please ensure that you are available from 09:00-17:00 on this date when applying. It’s a great opportunity for you to let your talents shine and showcase your skills! It’s a mixture of team and individual activities, so you can show us what you’re made of. From there, we will consider you for an apprenticeship position.
