At Centrica, we have a people team like no other. This summer placement offers you the opportunity to gain experience in a people-related role, such as Employee Relations, Reward, Performance & Talent or Business Partnering.

Over the 9 weeks you will make a meaningful contribution to a key people-related activity or project, whilst building valuable business, stakeholder, and organisation skills. You will have the opportunity to get involved in fundraising activities throughout the summer and participate in training with our Emerging Talent team. To ensure you have the best experience, all interns will be paired with current graduates as buddies, who will share their insights and experiences. Additionally, you will have a specialised Placement Intern Manager alongside your Line Manager to oversee your progress and help you gain valuable exposure to the People Team.

Our roles are based across any of our UK offices, including Windsor, Stockport, Leeds, and Leicester, with the team typically coming in at least 2 days per week. There will also be occasional travel requirements to our other UK offices.

What we need from you:

• Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Interest in People Practices
