The Team

This is an opportunity to gain experience in the Finance team within Unite Students.

The Financial Planning & Analysis team is part of the wider finance team that also covers financial services and group reporting. The team is around 11 people and supports the business in respect of financial performance and planning. The team provides this support to all of the areas of the business - operations, property and support functions.

What you'll be doing

Support the Finance Business Partners with:

• Financial analysis and reporting of actual performance vs forecast
• Forecasting financial performance and cash flows
• Financial analysis as required to support business decision making
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the Finance team to ensure all commercial aspects are considered and therefore the best possible finance support is provided
• Maintain a good working knowledge of other areas of the business,

Key Skills Needed

• Working towards a degree with a numerical, business or legal element e.g. maths, business, accountancy, law economics
• Experience and interest in finance, risk management and assurance
• Someone who is resourceful, eager to learn and enjoy solving problems
