Programme Essentials
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:
- Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year
- Looking for work experience after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
- Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 - Friday 16th July 2027.
- We strongly advise that you do not apply to more than 1 Internship role to ensure that you are considered for the Internship that you are most interested in and that your skills are aligned to
What will I learn from this opportunity?
As a Commercial Strategy Intern, you will assist in establishing central and local commercial strategies with our key global clients. You will collect and report on our commercial metrics and analyze the impact on Universal Pictures International’s various trading strategies across EMEA, LATAM and APAC. This internship will enhance your strategic thinking and development skills while you gain experience in the fast-paced world of media & entertainment industry.
What do I need to bring to the role?
- 1. Data driven mindset who can translate data into business insights, at ease conducting market & client research
- 2. Tracking and updating different commercial databases and tools on a regular basis
- 3. Eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- 4. Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various duties
- 5. Collaborative team-work, ability to communicate with people at all levels
What will I learn from this opportunity?
Business Modelling Understand existing business models in the industry and examine impact of recent changes in the industry to adapt these.
Data Intelligence Skills Review varied data sources to make decisions about commercial changes. Collect data, check data, data governance, link data & create value/ insights.
Project Management & AnalyticsStructure information, design framework, develop strategies, meet deadlines and capture value.
