As an IBM Intern, you will work with the latest technologies and collaborate with team members to create real impact for our clients and the greater world. You will have the opportunity to bring innovative ideas forward, put your transferable skills to work, and develop and learn new skills that will support your career growth.
Our Interns can complete roles within Consulting, Technology, HR, Marketing, Sales & Finance.
Requirements
- Start Dates: June / July or August 2025
- Expected Locations: London, Manchester, Winchester
- Positions require flexibility on travel to IBM and client sites. IBMers are expected to work at least 3 days per week in the office.
Eligible to live and work in the UK for the duration of your internship without sponsorship by IBM
University Placement Roles:
- Be on track for a 2:1 in your degree
- Have completed 2 years at university
- Require a 3rd year in industry as part of your university course.
- Return to university to complete final year of degree once placement finishes.

Whichever you choose, you’ll gain the experience, skills and contacts you need to help us solve some of our client’s toughest challenges. In return, we’ll give you everything you need to build the career you want, including fantastic support, training and development and a salary of £18,500 (£19,500 for London based).
We’re looking for enthusiastic, driven and innovative individuals from any degree background. Our University Placement and Summer Internship will take place in your penultimate year of University. For all of our schemes you must also be on target for (or have already achieved) at least a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree.
