Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
1/5
I will try to phone trained engineers to see if I can join them and shadow them on jobs or I will just look at a fault screen hoping a job will come up that I can tag along to. Sometimes I will have planned training.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
Don’t feel like I contribute much and waiting for work and often not getting any doesn’t make me feel good

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned a lot since joininh

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
1/5
Only thing that’s organised is the college dates and work, actual training barely had any organisation.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
1/5
It’s rare that they have a proper solution to when you have a problem
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Helped isn’t really needed off them to work towards the qualification
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It helps you understand the theory behind your role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
I don’t really know

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Scottish Power to a friend?
No
Why?

Be prepared to have to do a lot yourself
