Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Conducting research on the university market as my role was heavily focused on recruiting summer interns, placement students and graduates. I had to do research to identify trends in talent acquisition and recruitment strategies and create ideas to attract more students to enterprise.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Not really. I was set my own tasks to complete but majority of my work was done in a team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

My placement at Enterprise was extremely beneficial. I built on my prior skills such as presentations and using Microsoft software, but also learnt about the importance of networking, communication styles and personal brand. This has helped me develop personally and professionally.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I really appreciated the company culture. Everyone is extremely friendly which reflects the "our doors are always open" policy. Also, the commitment to supporting DEI initiatives and charity is commendable.
