PwC Social Mobility Pathway Review

The first day was a virtual introduction to all things Pwc! We learnt about PwC's diversity policies, mental health initiatives and spoke to partners from underrepresented backgrounds.
The following two days consisted of meeting the fellow students on the scheme, shadowing our PwC supervisors and speaking to people of all seniorities about their career at PwC! I undertook audit tasks and sat in on calls for ongoing matters which really developed my knowledge of how audit teams work.
This experience was incredibly insightful and enjoyable; I would thoroughly recommend applying!

Everybody I spoke to was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about PwC and the potential roles available for me. Specifically, the employees discussed their personal experience with securing a role at PwC and how that may relate to my future career.

I learnt the skill of networking. This was useful as I was able to ask thoughtful questions to lots of PwC employees and discover more about their professional journey.

Amazing! So welcoming and collaborative! The office is all open plan and employees have no designated seats, which means everybody knows everyone. PwC's value of 'team first' really encapsulates this culture.

This insight broadened my career horizons massively, as I had never considered audit as a viable route for myself, but now I am really excited at the idea of a career in audit! I also learnt that I prefer a smaller office size with a collaborative and supportive culture!
