About BASE
The British Association for Screen Entertainment (BASE), and Digital Entertainment Group International (DEGI) champion the Home Entertainment category and covers all legal routes for audience consumption of film and TV, including digital and physical transactional, subscription and ad funded and FAST channels. This is an ever evolving and fast-growing sector, which in the UK contributed £5.1 billion to the economy in 2024.
Our members include the biggest names in entertainment including Amazon, BBC, BT/EE, Curzon, Google, Lionsgate, Mubi, NBC Universal, Sky Store, Sony Pictures, Studiocanal, Virgin Media, Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros Discovery, amongst others. Our remit has evolved with category change, and this is an incredibly exciting time of vision and growth for the sector and the organisation.
Our role as a trade body is to inform and support the category and to represent its interests collectively to audiences, trade and consumer media, Government, and other industry organisations and partners.

This Internship will give you real world work experience, networking opportunities and exposure to the world of film and TV. We also host an industry Next Generation Board which you would have access to participate in with other peers from across the industry.
We are a small dynamic team of 12 who love film and TV, who support each other in an exciting, fast-paced, and intellectually stimulating and rigorous environment.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027
- Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
- Available to start working full time from June 2026
