Working at Unilever developed me both professionally and personally! The amount of responsibility that I have been trusted with enabled me to learn and develop skills such as problem solving, project management and data-driven decision making.
Working in Global Learning gave me a lot of insights into different roles and ways of working.
In my role, I help Unilever employees develop and achieve their career goals, look after everything digital-learning and find ways to increase engagement. It is a truly fulfilling role and not one day is the same!
As a piece of advice for students seeking a placement at Unilever, make sure you take advantage of every opportunity and get involved in as many and diverse projects as possible. This is the best way to understand what you like, what you are good at and get out of your comfort zone.
