Why did you apply for your Industrial Trainee Placement at Pfizer?
Pfizer is well established within the industry with lots of resources and I knew I would be able to work closely with experts in their field which in turn would provide me with a great experience and potential opportunities in the future.
How much responsibility are you given as an Industrial Trainee?
I will be involved in building bridges between material science and formulation which is something that is not currently happening. I am working to identify links and find where the information feeds to so we can take more of a collaborative approach.
What do you enjoy most about your role and working for Pfizer?
I have never been involved in anything like this before, so it’s really exciting as it is providing me with plenty of challenges. I enjoy it because I am getting a taste of research and what this is like working within industry. I love the culture of Pfizer, as it provides so many opportunities, and they really recognize and pursue innovation.
