A+E Networks EMEA

The last Thursday in July is National Intern Day which recognizes interns for their efforts and achievements.

At A+E Networks EMEA, the On Air and Research Intern programme continues to be a success not only for the business but for three individuals each year, selected to complete a placement in the industry before completing their final year at University. 

In On Air, our interns split their time between Presentation , completing creative and compliant schedules for our customers across EMEA, and time in Continuity & Navigation, where they strategically plan on-air graphics, proofread scripts, and liaise with voice-over artists. As fully-fledged team members, our interns get real hands-on experience in the world of broadcast while the team gets valuable support from people eager to learn.

As the change of guard of the Interns at A+E Networks EMEA has been happening over the last couple of weeks, we would like to thank our outgoing Interns – T-ala, Jess, and Maria - for their hard work and dedication over the past 12 months and welcome Josie, Charles, and Dan who will be spending the next 12 months within the on-air and research teams with us. 

At A+E EMEA, new joiners are supported by our “ Newbie Network,” a designated programme with access to various onboarding resources and information to help them make a start with the company a lot less daunting.
