Getting an apprenticeship in construction is much easier than you think.
Firstly, you’ll need to be at least 16 years of age as many apprenticeships require you to work on building sites and with heavy machinery (for which you will receive all sorts of training, certifications and permits). You’ll also need to be willing to work in all weather conditions.
Every apprenticeship level has its own entry requirements as we've already discussed, so always check these.
Once you’ve found your dream apprenticeship (or apprenticeships), it’s time to apply.
You’ll need to write a CV and apprenticeship cover letter. You'll likely also have to do an interview.
