Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Very independent, tasks will be delegated by senior members of staff and you are expected to complete them in a timely manner to adhere to the deadline for the client. Regularly checked in on by your project manager or counsellor.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Responsibly began low and has built up though the process. I would have liked more responsibility at times.

Plenty of support was given from my managers at work. Would have been nice to have had to some frequent meetings with more senior staff in the department i.e. Directors & Partners

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Culture is fantastic, there is always a good vibe in the office and everyone is very welcoming. There is an obvious hierarchy which is some what intimidating however.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed it greatly, it has given me a great incite into cooperate lifestyle. I can now go back to uni with a better mindset of which career I want to proceed with.

What advice would you give to others applying to BDO
Responsibility will begin low so work will seem trivial but as you show you are capable senior members of staff will trust you more and work will become more meaningful. It is important to reach out to your manager if you have any concerns with work and they will try to assist you.
