Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was mainly responsible for Environmental Monitoring Programme which included weekly swabbing of different locations in the factory to determine whether microbial contamination is present. I was involved in determining root cause analysis for the contamination and coming up with corrective and preventative action. In addition, I had a chance to own many different projects and work with teams cross functionally.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support from my manager and my team in general. It's a very supportive environment and you don't have to hesitate to ask any questions as everyone will be more than happy to answer them.
