Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
A day typically involves conversations with marketing teams and design agencies to brief, review and approve online content such as main images, secondary images and wider information you would find on the product page on a retailer website. We manage the whole of PepsiCo's online product portfolio and ensure these are ready and updated for go live dates and conduct audits to ensure retailers are using our recommended content.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, in this role there are constantly different projects to work on with brands being updated, new products launching and ingredient and nutritional changes etc. Therefore you are given responsibility from the beginning to manage and execute your own projects. I was also given the opportunity to work with different teams within eCommerce to manage projects that were outside of my day to day role.

Yes
What advice would you give to others applying to PepsiCo
I would advise others to speak to as many people as possible throughout the placement year and take the opportunity of being in a big company to understand as much as possible about the different parts of sales to help make you understand what you might be interested in/not interested in for the future.
