My role is very varied depending on the project i am working on, it can be anything from calculating nutritionals, analytical test result analysis, attending trials, meetings, planning etc

Yes, at the beginning less so as i was new and getting to know my role and purpose but as I settled i was given specific parts of projects to own and deliver on

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I feel very lucky to have had a manager and team members who really wanted to ensure my placement year was the best and that i got as much out of it as i could.
I was asked multiple times about where i thought i could further develop and learn which allowed me to voice my opinion and gain more insight into my areas of interest

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
At Beaumont Park the culture is very close knit and it is more of a community than anything.
Some days can be quiet but i think it is nice to have a balance where on some days you can have focus time nd others there is a more relaxed and chatty environment

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
At the beginning it was very daunting as i wasn't sure who i could go to for support but as i got settled and knew where i stood bit more it became clearer and i enjoyed the experience a lot more
