Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Assistant product developer, working on management and reformulation of brands in Western Europe.
Role includes liasing with teams cross-functionally to deliver product reformulations. General creative development support, and arranging of product analysis .

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Many opportunities for independence and leadership in projects towards the second half of placement when skills have been developed and confidence grown.

Dependent on managers, but personal support was great. Lots of conversations about career development and goals for the year, as well as ongoing discussion about projects.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

A great year, due to the development of many skills and lots of learnings about the food industry . But personal satisfaction was medium due to lack of personal interest in the industry.
