Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight covered two days - the first day was in person and the second online. The first was run by an external training company and the second involved a day of talks given by various people in different divisions within Schroders.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was helpful to understand how the asset management industry works and what Schroders do. There was also detailed information on various graduate programmes and internship schemes.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture seemed warm although the in person day was ran by an external company and the second day which was done by Schroders was online so it was difficult to tell. The graduates working at Schroders that I did speak to seemed very nice.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the training provided by the external company as well as learning about the asset management industry as this was an industry that I had not been previously exposed to.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Schroders
They require you to do a online test as well as CV submission so make sure your CV is strong and that you practice the online tests before taking it.
