Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We explored different divisions, from Investment Banking to Global Markets and Corporates as well as DEI goals. We attended talks given by senior employees and then had networking lunches, drinks and sessions everyday with the opportunity to network with not only with peers but also with analysts and other seniors from the team on specific days. Then we also had case study workshops.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It made it clearer to me which path I want to walk down, especially since I wasn't sure which team was right for me and what I was the most interested in.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have improved my networking skills especially talking to people more confidently and then making a good first impression. Then on the technical side, I also learnt more about how the bank as a whole works with they products and services.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was very friendly and family-like. Everyone enjoyed working here and they were very enthusiastic to help us and explain more about what it is that they do.
