Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight introduced participants into the firm's operations as well as the technology division.
For the first half of day 1, all spring week participants (i.e., participants on different streams) were placed in the same room for breakfast. This was followed by a culture panel and a session for networking. After lunch, those on the technology stream were separated and introduced to the programme's sponsors.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was quite encouraging to see the vast range of possible careers at Morgan Stanley.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the insight a lot. From meeting new people and learning about the firm's technology division to how they took care of me outside of the insight programme, it was a 5/5 experience.

If applying for the technology division insight week, don't worry about not knowing how to code. Just come with a mind that is open to learning and has done its due diligence. Also ensure to practice, reach out to those that already work at the firm to get a better understanding of the firm's culture and technology division specifically.
