Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Talks held by all divisions of UBS to introduce us to the workings of UBS, with ample opportunities to interact and mingle with not only other participants, but also with speakers. Divisions introduced include Asset Management, Wealth Management, Global Banking, Global Markets and all supporting departments.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It felt great to finally be able to distinguish between the various businesses and roles, as everything was explained very clearly and if there were any doubts, opportunities to clarify and interact were given.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Excellent. Everyone that spoke was exceedingly friendly yet professional, and there is a good sense of support and mutual cooperation between employees.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Enjoyed it considerably. The cohort was small, so it was easy to feel included with attention given to each of the participants. I thoroughly enjoyed the networking and wellbeing sessions, a distinguishing feature. Although I would have appreciated if the event was held in-person, and if there were opportunities to shadow and showcase our own skills.
