Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight week was virtual and consisted of several sessions each day, which gave an overview of the different roles at UBS, as well as the culture of the company. The day-to-day activities were attending zooms and being an active participator in question and networking sessions.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very useful and helped me narrow down the areas I am interested in. It also gave me details into some roles I didn't even know about before the session!

As it was an insight program, it was less about developing skills, and more about deepening my understanding of the company and the variety of roles available. I did however gain some skills in relation to networking and meeting other individuals online.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Even though the event was virtual, it was easy to see that UBS has a supportive and welcoming culture. All of the employees were friendly and eager to help us with answering questions.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to UBS
Be yourself! Make sure when you interview that you made your skills known, but do not sound too rehearsed. This company is very centered around the people, so they want to get to know you as an individual.
