Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Great work experience programme. I was put in the Investment Banking division. In the first week we had 4 days of training on both Investment Banking and Global markets. Then, for 7 days I sat on the Debt capital markets desk. While sitting on the DCM desk I shadowed people, worked on a presentation and completed online learning about Financial Markets.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really easy to understand different aspects of the business and gaining better knowledge about each division. The people who work at nomura were very willing to help and receptive - always positive and enthusiastic
