Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We received training: technical, excel, personal skills , interview skills. Additionally, we were placed in a desk in which we had in job experience, such as helping on jobs the team gave us, joining meetings and towards the end we delivered a project presentation individually that the team attended.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very informative and insightful - I learnt a lot, and it really made me interested in Nomura as a company.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very welcoming, everyone was super friendly and very approachable, even the more senior members of staff. I really liked the culture, as there is a very personal atmosphere and you really get to know everyone even if it only was a two week programe.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I extremely enjoyed this, not only did I learn about what an Investment Bank really does, and about the different divisions within the bank, but I also learnt what the type of tasks are on a daily basis , and the different reponsibilities involved.
Also, I had the opportunity to meet lots of people, who have given very helpful tips and guidance for my career, and everyone has been super approachable and willing to help.
