Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Over 4 days I attended firmwide talks on Morgan Stanley's culture and overview of the firm's operations.
On day 1 there was a trading simulation.
From days 2-4 I engaged in presentations from employees of Morgan Stanley's Investment Management division.
There were also both firmwide and divsional networking events.
On day 4 there was a charity activity.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was incredible to see the variety of teams within MSIM, and how roles are available for any kind of person. I especially valued the commitment to sustainability shared by all teams.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture is incredibly collaborative and constructive, and seems like a very good place to start a career.
There was no cutthroat and overly-individualistic atmosphere, it felt like a place where everyone works together to succeed.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I found it to be an incredible opportunity to learn more about Morgan Stanley as a firm, as well as a huge deep-dive into the teams within MSIM. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
