Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Currently an apprentice Claims Broker. I find it enjoyable and often quite intense. It is a split between administrative tasks and correspondence. There is alot of valuable and sensitive information that I pass on to other external sources, Insurers, brokers, TPAs etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I feel as if I have a found an industry that suits me. My role challenges me and is very sociable. Therefore, I enjoy it.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Its my first job in the industry, so I have learned so much already. Even my social skills have grown, given the number of correspondence/ relations i have with other industry proffesionals.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have one study/ apprenticeship day a week. This allows me to get work done in that time. Given the nature of my work, i do find it hard to allocate time to study, as i will still be receiving work from external sources.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I think all work covered and studied, translates well into my role. Whether it be concepts, or just terms that I am now familiar with.
