Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
It is a front office role, so the day to day tasks vary between speaking to traders, sales people, and my quants team. And then combining the exposure from all those different stakeholders holders to develop useful tools
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
After initial training and the team making sure i am comfortable, i was immediately made an integral part of team, joining in on meetings and team decisions, and worked on a project that was actually used by the business.

My manager and team were all very supportive, and took me under their wing from day 1. And that applies to all people, from the analyst to the MD, everyone was helpful.
