Group Real Estate Summer Intern Review

My role as a Summer Intern involved being part of the Data & Analytics team within the Group Real Estate division. During my internship, I worked on a range of data-driven projects, supporting the team in analysing information, developing insights, and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving data insights across the division.

Throughout my internship, I was assigned to a key project involving the development of a Power BI dashboard for the country leads within the Group Real Estate division. This was a highly responsible task, as the dashboard was intended to be used by senior stakeholders across multiple countries to monitor key metrics, support data-driven decision-making, and improve reporting efficiency. I was involved throughout the project lifecycle, from gathering and understanding user requirements to designing and developing the dashboard to meet the needs of its intended users.

Throughout my internship, I have developed my technical skills significantly. I am now proficient in designing and developing interactive dashboards using Power BI, creating complex DAX measures and calculations, and transforming raw data into meaningful insights for stakeholders. Working on a live business project has strengthened both my technical capabilities and my confidence in applying data analytics to solve real-world business problems.

Throughout my internship, my team provided me with continuous support and guidance. They were always willing to share their knowledge, answer my questions, and provide constructive feedback, which helped me develop both my technical and professional skills. Their encouragement and mentorship created a positive learning environment.

The company culture was welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative. Everyone was approachable and willing to share their knowledge and expertise, creating an environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and learning from experienced colleagues.

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship experience, as it provided me with the opportunity to apply my academic knowledge in a real-world business environment while continuously developing my technical and professional skills.
