Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked for the Technology, MI and Innovation team which was all internal work to support the Client Delivery Analytics Team. I was involved in projects improving the technology and 'ways of working' used on engagement work.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given some really great responsibilities, including co-leading the implementation of some new software to the department of over 250 people. This involved presenting training and creating materials to be used when onboarding.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed lots of new technical skills such as coding and analytics. I used new visualisation software I hadn't seen before. In addition to the specific work skills, my soft skills grew the most. My time management, communication, critical thinking (just to name a few!) improved more than I ever would have expected!

A huge amount! My managers and People Leader were great and really supportive to me in every aspect, then Deloitte as a whole really cares about your personal development, providing support networks, connect sessions and training opportunities.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Really good! My particular team had such an inclusive culture, everyone was welcoming and wanted to help. I felt really valued and part of the team!
