Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Enterprise Performance & Technology Consulting. Usually working with other companies to update their legacy systems while also making all their processes much more efficient.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

For an intern, yes. I was not expected to work outside of 9am-5pm ever though. All the workload was manageable and there was a lot of freedom with what I was allowed to do with my time.

Loads! Definitely had a huge amount of support. There is an assigned buddy, people leader, project mentor and project manager, alongside multiple people in the early career team so there are so many people you can go to with any questions.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Really fantastic. Everyone is so kind and supportive and genuinely willing to take the time to get to know you and what you like best. Never had a single negative interaction with anyone

What advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte

Really focus on the job simulation and take your time on it. The interview is much nicer and a lot more motivational than other companies, so really take the chance to think about why you are applying and what is the role that is best for you.
