Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As an intern, I assisted on a client project by understanding the workflow and aiding slide deck creation, some data analysis and working with test data / creating test scripts to work with a software reaching the end of its development phase
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
When assigned tasks, I was generally given the licence to approach as I see fit. However, there wasn't much opportunity to meet with the client, though that was just luck due to the current stage of the project

Developed a lot of soft skills just by virtue of being involved in socials and meeting lots of new people.
Had more practice working with Excel, and analysing/presenting data

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A lot. Deloitte has a strong system to make sure employees feel supported and as interns it felt like asking lots of questions for clarification was encouraged. The difference in seniority doesn't stop people generally being accessible and friendly

Be willing to ask lots and lots of questions about anything that's unclear. Also make sure to talk to as many people as possible
